Bad keyfob switches

A common fault showing up on various Nissan models is of the remote on the key not working properly.
Common symptoms include:
* Failure to lock or unlock.
* Rattling from inside the key.
* Worn out case, interior switches exposed.

The cause

Inside the key case (known as a "NATS" because of the lettering on it), there is a small electronic circuit which controls the remote locking.
There are two tiny switches on it, and with time they either just wear out, or often the solder joints fail and they become detached from the circuit board.

The kit includes 2 new switches and a new key case, plus a new battery.
It's a simple job to open up your old case and fit your circuit board into the new shell.

If you prefer to leave the component replacement to us, we offer a reasonably priced repair service that includes fitting a new case and testing that it works afterwards.
